The report just coming in says the Managing Director of Nigeria’s Bank of Agriculture Alwan Ali-Hassan, who was among passengers declared missing following the terrorist attack on an Abuja-Kaduna train nine days ago, has regained freedom from his abductors.
Al-Hassan was on evening of Monday, March 28, 2022 whisked away by terrorists, who attacked the 1000-seat train with 970 passengers on board.
It will be recalled that the terrorists bombed the train, which took off from Idu Station in Abuja on the ill-fated day.

A report credited to a senior official at the BoA confirmed that the MD Alwan Al-Hassan, regained his freedom on Wednesday April 6, 2022.

The official, who did not specify if any ransom was paid to his abductors, said family and friends of the bank’s managing director were grateful to God for his release alive.
He further said: “We are grateful to God for his release and we pray never to witness this. We also pray others get released soon”.
On that faithful day, a report says that tension rose within the family and BoA  communities on Tuesday when news broke about 14 of 21 abducted passengers of the ill-fated train without Ali-Hassan among.
The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) said Monday that the passengers have been found alive.

It will be recalled that the 1000-seat train was actually confirmed to have lifted 970 passengers among which only 362 were validated and who were on board the attacked AK9 train service.
