TRAGEDY:GOVERNOR GANDUJE MOURNS AS SIX CLERICS DIE IN AUTO CRASH

Six Islamic clerics have reportedly died in an auto crash in Kano state.
A report says the Islamic leaders were coming from Sumaila Local Government Area of the state when the incident happened.

Meanwhile, the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has commiserated with the families of the six Islamic clerics over the sudden loss of their loved ones.

In a statement in Kano, Ganduje described The death of these gentlemen as not only a great loss to their respective family members, but to the entire state.
Ganduje succinctly maintained that the development was a monumental tragedy.
According to the Governor, “We learnt that the clerics, led by Sheikh Alkassim Zakariyya, embarked on a tour under the auspices of the Imam Malik Islamic Foundation.
He pointed out that “Our dear state lost people of substance, who were God-fearing.
They are Sheikh Alkassim, Malam Isiya Tela, Mustapha Musa Sa’ad, Malam Ishaq Rummawa, and Malam Zakariyya Alkassim Dataka. May Allah forgive them.
The also reads in part “On behalf of the government and people of Kano State, I am extending our condolences to their families, the Imam Malik Islamic Foundation and their friends for the great loss.
