OSINACHI: EKWUEME SINGER FINALLY BURIED IN ABIA

The remains of the late Ekwueme singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu have been buried in Abia State.

Osinachi’s body was laid to rest in her hometown, Isochi Umunneochi in Abia State.

The Ekwueme singer died on April 8, 2022, in Abuja.

Osinachi was alleged to have been a victim of domestic violence prior to her death.

 

Her death was linked to her husband, Peter Nwachukwu, for which he is standing trial before a High Court of the  Federal Capital Territory.

During his arraignment Nwachukwu had denied subjecting the late singer to domestic violence and pleaded not guilty to all the counts.

He claimed Osinachi  died of lung cancer.

Despite his claims, the court had remanded him in Kuje Correctional Facility in Abuja.

Over five prosecution witnesses including the Children of the late singer have testified before the court.
