MAYHEM IN ABUJA AS OKADA RIDERS SET HOUSES ABLAZE OVER "COLLEAGUES" DEATH

Scores of rampaging commercial motorcycles riders, on Sunday, went haywire in Abuja setting buildings ablaze over the death of two of their colleagues.
The hoodlums attacked Same Global Estate in the Lokogoma area of the nation’s capital following the death of the persons after they were allegedly hit by a car.
The riders were reportedly enraged when they discovered that the driver of the car had taken cover in a house to escape their wrath.
It was gathered that when they could not fish him out, the mob, which increased in volume, descended on the two houses and set them alight.
They were also said to have pulled down the gates of the estate and engaged in outright vandalism of other property in the area.
Residents reportedly frightenly took to the social media to report the incident and drew the attention of the general public as well as the law enforcement agencies to the incident.
Meanwhile, the police operatives were said to have been drafted to the area to restore normalcy.
