FEDERAL HIGH COURT PREPARES TO HONOUR A LEGAL ICON, LUCIUS NWOSU, SAN WITH A VALEDICTORY SESSION ON JUNE 6

The Federal High Court of Nigeria will on Monday June 6 honour the late legal luminary, Chief Lucius Nwosu, SAN with a Special Valedictory Court Session.

The Valedictory Court Session which is first of its kind to be held for a private legal practitioner will hold at the Ruth Ukeje Hall of the headquarters of the Court in Abuja.

A program of event sighted on Wednesday in Abuja by Equity News Track indicated that the session is at the instance of the Chief Judge of the Court, Justice John Terhemba Tsoho.

It was equally gathered that the authorities of the Court put the special Court Valedictory Session together as mark of appreciations to the contributions of the legal giant to the growth of the court and law in general.

One of the closest legal associates of the legal luminary, Chief James Ogwu Onoja, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria is coordinating the program.

It was observed that eminent Nigerians and various organizations including the Nigerian Bar Association NBA, Body of Benchers, Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria and the Attorney General of the Federation AGF and the Minister of Justice have been invited to make presentations and pay last honour to the late lawyer.

Chief Lucius Ezeakammadu Nwosu,SAN became famous in his life time as a result of his persistent fight on the side of the downtrodden in the country.

He passed on in his sleep last month at the age of 69.
