Department of Medical Microbiology and Parasitology na sanar da daukacin al’umma cewar ta fara sayarda form na shiga wannan makaranta wanda za’a iya samu a Bayero University Consultancy Services Unit for the First batch of 2022 in take na Professional Certificate Courses in:
1. Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Sustainable Control Strategies
2. Laboratory Diagnostics Techniques
3. Vector Biology and Disease Control
4. Communicable Disease Surveillance and Immunization
5. Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)
6. Public Health Microbiology
7. Environmental Public Health
Faculty
Resource persons will be drawn from relevant
Departments in the College of Health Sciences/
Bayero University / Aminu Kano Teaching
Hospital: Microbiology and Parasitology,
Community Medicine, Internal Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Geography, Engineering and
Experts from the State/Federal Ministry of
Health.
The Courses are to be coordinated by a
staff from the Faculty.
Course Fee
A moderate fee of Sixty Thousand Naira
(₦60,000:00) only is payable per participant
per course. This fee covers tuition, lecture
materials and other logistics expenses.
Administrative fee of Five Thousand Naira (₦5,000:00) only will be paid to the Department per
participant.
Participants or their sponsors are to make
appropriate arrangements for accommodation,
feeding and transportation.
Method of Application
Any interested eligible applicant or his/her
sponsor can obtain the application form from the
Bayero Consultancy Services LTD, Near the sport complex inside Bayero University Kano, Old Campus, at the
rate of Five Thousand Naira (=N=5,000:00) only.

Duration
The courses will run on part time basis at the
weekends (Saturdays only) for twelve (12)
weeks, comprising ten weeks of lectures and two
weeks of field work and reporting.
