There are strong indications that the leadership crisis in the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA has refused to abate as the faction led by Edozie Njoku has announced the dissolution of some state chapters of the party.
The development was contained in a Communique Read By The National Administrative Secretary, Okoro Benedict On Behalf Of The National Working Committee in Abuja.
The faction explained that the move was in line with the recent Supreme Court and Federal High Court judgments which they insist upheld their 2019 Owerri Convention that produced Edozie Njoku as APGA National Chairman.
The NWC which passed a vote of confidence on Njoku, especially for what they described as his conciliatory leadership style and called on INEC to recognize the Executives that emerged from the Owerri Convention.
It explained that the dissolution of some state chapters including Kwara, Kogi, Lagos, Oyo, Delta, Anambra, Imo, Enugu, Abia and Ebonyi states was to pave way for peace and genuine reconciliation.
